Autogas (LPG Vehicle) Hoses
Hoses for LPG vehicle conversion systems to ECE R67 / EN 1762 requirements.
Kauczer autogas hoses are built for LPG vehicle systems and approved to ECE R67, the regulation for automotive LPG equipment. Resistant to liquid and vapour-phase LPG, engine heat and ageing, they connect tanks, multivalves and reducers safely with clear approval markings.
How to choose an autogas hose
Match the phase, diameter, approval and temperature to the vehicle LPG system.
- Phase — confirm liquid-phase or vapour-phase service; the compound and rating differ.
- Inner diameter — match the tank, multivalve and reducer fittings; common bores are small (for example 6–11 mm).
- Approval — verify the ECE R67 approval mark printed on the hose.
- Temperature — under-bonnet routing needs heat resistance; typical range -30 to +120 C for engine-bay grades.
- Pressure — confirm the working and burst pressure for automotive LPG.
Applications
- LPG vehicle conversions (autogas)
- Tank to multivalve and reducer connections
- Engine-bay vapour and liquid lines
- Workshop installation and replacement
Why Kauczer
Our autogas hoses are made to ECE R67 with consistent bore and heat-resistant covers for under-bonnet life. Custom bores and approved assemblies are available for installers and OEMs.
Frequently asked questions
ECE R67 is the international regulation for LPG equipment on vehicles. An approved hose is tested for the pressures, temperatures and LPG resistance required in automotive use, so it is mandatory for legal and safe autogas installations.
Yes. Liquid-phase lines carry pressurised liquid LPG and need a higher-rated construction, while vapour-phase lines carry gas after the reducer. Tell us where the hose sits in the system and we will supply the correct grade.
Yes. Our engine-bay grades use heat-resistant compounds rated to around +120 C for under-bonnet routing close to hot components. Confirm the route temperature and we will recommend the grade.
Yes. As the manufacturer we offer custom bores and lengths and can supply ECE R67 approved assemblies for installers and OEM autogas programmes.
